February Announcments

Monthly Pastoral Visits: There is a sign a sign-up sheet out on the table in the fellowship with my available times for pastoral visits in the month of February.

Annual Meeting: The Annual Meeting for this mission will be this Sunday, the 5th of February. It should be noted that we had part of our Annual Meeting this past Sunday where we elected new Bishop Committee members as well as Synod delegates.

Pre-Lenten Retreat: In preparation for Lent, I will be attending the mandatory clergy retreat sponsored by the diocese from the 13th to the 15th of February. In Lui of a mass on Wednesday, we will have evening prayer.

Shrove Tuesday: Our annual pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday will be on the 21st of February from 4:00pm-6:30pm. Please see Terri and Debbie if you any interested in volunteering your culinary services or some other form of assistance.

Confession on Shrove Tuesday: Private confession will be offered all day on Shrove Tuesday by appointment. There will be a sign up sheet made available. I strongly encourage you to make you of this neglected sacrament, so as prepare yourselves for the Lenten season.

Ash Wednesday: Our Ash Wednesday service which will begin the season of Lent will be on the 22nd of February at 5:30pm. Like with Advent, we will be switching to Rite I and Eastward facing for the Mass.

Daughters of the King: The annual mass for the daughters of the king as well as general meeting will be at 4:30pm on the 23rd of February. 

Feast of St. Matthias: The feast of St. Matthias the Apostle will be at 6:00pm at the St. Barnabas Altar at on the 24th of February.

Mass: Mass is being celebrated Tuesday-Friday at 9:30am following Morning Prayer (This not in addition to our Wednesday Mass at 5:30pm). If a feast day falls on these days, (or Monday and Saturday) Mass will occur at 5:30pm. Invite your family, friends, and neighbor to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Morning and Evening Prayer: Morning and Evening Prayer are offered Tuesday-Friday at 9:00am and 5:00pm, respectfully. If a feast day falls on a Monday or Saturday, Morning and Evening Prayer will be conducted on those days. Invite your family, friends, and neighbor to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness
