Class of the Council of Nicaea: In honor of the 1700 anniversary of the 1st Ecumenical Council, the Council of Nicaea in 325AD, I will be teaching a course on this important event, on wednesdays this month (the first three) after Mass in the Fellowship Hall.
St. Luke: The Feast of St. Luke will be observed on the 18th of October with Matins at 9:00am, Evensong at 5:00pm and Mass at 6:00pm.
St.James: The Feast of St.James will be observed on the 23rd of October with Matins at 9:00am, Evensong at 5:00pm and Mass at 6:00pm.
Synod in Bloomington: I will be away to be attending the148th synod will be held in Bloomington from the 24th to 25th of October.
Bishop’s Committee Meeting: The Bishop’s committee will be meeting on the 26th of this month after coffee hour in the fellowship hall.
Saint Simon and Saint Jude: The Feast of St. Simon and St. Jude will be observed on the 28th of October with Matins at 9:00am, Evensong at 5:00pm and Mass at 6:00pm.
All Hallow’s Eve: There will be a special All Hallow’s Eve service to begin Allhallowtide at 6:00pm.
All Saints: The Feast of All Saints will be observed on Saturday November 1st with Matins at 9:00am and Evensong at 5:00pm as well at Sunday November 2nd with mass at our normal time at 10:00am.
All Souls: All souls will be obsered on Novemebr 2nd with the evening office of the dead at 5:30pm and a requiem mass at 6:00pm. There will be a sign up sheet for those who wish to have their loved prayed for put out towards the end of October.
